Darlington Packing and Sonoco Recycling ran away with the titles in O-Zone and Farm League, respectively. In Minors, 2015 has been a year of parity. And one thing is for sure: the parity has led to a fun-filled, highly-competitive season on Field 6.
On Tuesday, May 26, MKA and Jiffy Print will square off in a playoff game to decide the second half championship. Game time is 5:30. An MKA win would mean Coach Russ Norwood's crew would be the season champions. A Jiffy Print victory would mean additional playoff games between the two teams in the form of a best-of-3 series. Game 1 of that series would be held immediately following the Second Half Playoff Game on Tuesday.
Games 2 & 3 of that series will be held on Monday, June 1, if they are necessary. Game 2 would begin at 5:30, with Game 3 starting shortly after the conclusion of Game 2.
Both Jiffy Print and MKA finished with a 5-2 record in the second half.
