Farm League: Week One Update


The 2015 Farm League season got off to a quick start with six games being played in the first week.  The first game of the season proved to be exciting, as Caleb Walters, Ayden Valente and the Lions defeated Dave Pulling's Sonoco club 9-8.  In the nightcap, Shelley Gaymon's Kiwanis knocked off Palmetto Precision Products (affectionately known around the league as PPP) by the score of 10-6.

The Farm Leaguers were back at it on Tuesday, with Sonoco Recycling, lead by Marshall Wint, Jaden Carraway and Noah McAteer, defeated Kiwanis 13-3.  Sonoco was back at it on Tuesday and they had another tight one.  This time they came out on top; beating PPP 8-7. 

On Wednesday, Sonoco Recycling topped the Lions 15-8 in the 5:30 game.  Sonoco left little to chance in their third game of the week, topping Kiwanis 11-0.

After one week, here are the Farm League standings:
