O-Zone Update through Three Weeks

For the third week of the season, there were only three O-Zone games on the schedule.  On Tuesday, Darlington Packing defeated Palmetto Pride 17-6.  In the late game, Grayson Wint and Ryan Jordan no-hit Saleeby & Cox, as Pennington & Meadows took the win 5-4.  A few miscues in the field for P&M and some solid baserunning by the Fighting Finks kept the game from being a shutout.

On Friday, Steve Irick took his Darlington Packing team to Bishopville to square off with First Citizens.  Darlington Packing was sent packing and came back to Hartsville with a 7-5 loss.

There are still two more full weeks of first half action in O-Zone.  For the week of April 20, each O-Zone team will play two games against teams from either Lamar or Bishopville.  The following week, all O-Zone action will be at Byerly Park.  Assuming no weather delays, O-Zone's first half will end on April 28.
