O-Zone Update for Week Two

O-Zone's second full week of play was a monumental week for Hartsville National.  This week marked the first week of Interleague Play with our friends from Lamar and Bishopville.

Tim Jordan and Brian Meadows' crew kicked off Interleague Play against Lowder Farms.  Unfortunately for the Real Estate Moguls, Lowder Farms was able to plow the field for a 7-3 victory.  Also on Monday at Byerly Park, Bishopville's baseball version of Sonoco beat Willie Austin's Palmetto Pride 10-0

All four O-Zone teams had Interleague matchups on Tuesday.  Ricky Fink took his Saleeby & Cox club to Bishopville for Hartsville National's first road game in Interleague Play.  First Citizens was able to deposited runs when they need them and won the game 7-4.  While Fink's fortunes weren't so good on the road, Pennington & Meadows was able to get back on the winning track with a 21-0 win in Lamar.

Lowder Farms traveled to Byerly Park again on Tuesday.  And again, they came away victorious.  This time with a win over Darlington Packing.  The 10-9 defeat marked the first loss of the season for Steve Irick's club.

Following the example set by Pennington & Meadows earlier in the night, Willie Austin's Palmetto Pride were able to knockoff Lamar 11-8.

On Thursday, Ricky Fink carried his team back to Bishopville.  This time, Saleeby & Cox fell to Sonoco 11-8.

O-Zone Standings after Week Two:

Darlington Packing 3-1
P&M 2-3
Palmetto Pride 2-3
Saleeby & Cox 1-4
