Evan Young and SPC find themselves
atop the Minor League Standings after Week 3.
Week Three proved to be another exciting week for the Minor League. SPC Credit Union started off the week hot with a 12-3 victory over Jiffy Print on Monday. In the night cap, Hartsville Surgical continued their downward slide with a 6-4 defeat at the hands of Daniel Norwood, Treion McFarland and the rest of the MKA Mechanics.
On Tuesday, Jiffy Print, reeling from a 3 game losing streak, completed an epic comeback in the sixth inning to beat Allstate 10-9. Big hits from Jacob Pulling and Rodney Atkinson were overshadowed by the pitching of Quez Hadley and hitting of Grant Watts and the rest of the JP crew. In the late game, Cole Winburn and SPC knocked off Gage Hickson and MKA 12-8 to move atop the league standings.
Hartsville Surgical and Allstate were scheduled to play on Thursday, April 16. The game was postponed due to rain. It will be made up on Monday, April 20 at 5:30pm.
