The NBA could learn a thing or two about close games in playoffs from Hartsville National. Their 30-point blowouts are snoozefests compared to the tense, nail-biting action we see at Byerly Park.
With the O-Zone halves being won by different teams, a best-of-three playoff series started this week. F3 won game one 7-6. Allstate won game two 3-1. It was no surprise when game three was a tight one.
F3 won a dramatic Game 3 by the score of 4-2. While it was a total team effort, the outstanding defensive play of Xavion Robinson should be noted. The outfielder made an amazing catch in the sixth inning and doubled off a runner to bring his team to within one out of the championship. Bennett Meadows struck out the last batter to seal the championship for F3.
The O-Zone championship was the only F3 championship at Hartsville National in 2016. F3 (team pictured below) also won the Farm League Championship with a unblemished record of 15-0.
Yah!! So proud of these boys! Yall did a great job! Congratulations!
